What brand of discount contacts should I buy?
Take a look at your old contacts lens box, or at the small plastic packaging that the individual contacts are delivered in. On these you can find the brand and the model as well as some other important information about the contacts that fit your eyes. You don't have to order the exact same brand, for example focus contacts, but the following data must be the same:
- Power Between -20.00 and +20.00. A plus sign means farsightedness and a minus means nearsightedness. It is very important that you order the correct power discount contacts!
- BC (Basecurve) is a number between 8,4 and 9,3 and tells the flatness of the lens. Important to choose right since the contacts will easily slide out of place otherwise.
- Dia (Diameter) tells how large the lens should be. Between 14,0 oand 14,4. Sometimes you don't need to specify Diameter for discount lenses, when they only come in one size that fits all.
